About the holiday home
Zeelandmuschel is our quieter holiday home in Port Greve near Brouwershaven. Its 101 m² accommodate up to five guests. The sheltered plot of approximately 620 m² sits at the end of a small waterway, with one terrace beside the house and another seating area directly by the water.
The living room, dining area and kitchen form one open space. We particularly appreciate the closed fireplace on cooler evenings. The kitchen has an induction hob, oven, dishwasher and Nespresso machine. Fast Wi-Fi and several smart TVs are also available.
Two enclosed bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the ground floor; one bathroom contains the infrared sauna. A narrow staircase leads to the open sleeping gallery beneath the roof windows. It is a cosy space, but not an enclosed third bedroom, and generally works best for families with older children.
Two cars can park directly in front of the house. The marina is within walking distance, Grevelingenmeer is about a ten-minute walk away and the North Sea beach at Brouwersdam is roughly eight minutes by car. Check-in is contactless via a key safe.

Wir blieben ein paar Tage und wären gerne länger geblieben. Das Strandhaus ist wirklich perfekt für eine Familie oder eine Gruppe von Freunden geeignet, mit einem schönen, ruhigen Außenbereich neben dem Wasser und nur wenige Gehminuten von der Küste entfernt. Viele lokale Dienstleistungen und kinderfreundliche Aktivitäten auf dem Grundstück, sehr freundliche Umgebung. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich geliebt!

We spent three nights here, together with another couple. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dorothee’s house - it is well-appointed, very clean, and beautifully furnished. The park is lovely, being able to park in front of the house is very helpful, WIFI and streaming services worked well, and both of the terraces, especially the one on the water, were a real treat. With two bathrooms, the house is ideal for two couples. We had perfect weather, and all in all we were very happy with our mini-vacation in Schouwen-Duiveland.

What I liked: Good house in a good neighborhood. Very responsive landlord. Received bond refund on time and a fair amount. Safe and secure parking. Landlord arranged the house for me with only 1 hour notice. Really appreciated. What can be better- Struggled with the heating system. Heating automatically turned off at night and no way to turn it on. As per the landlord it was about 22. Felt much colder in the room. I fell sick from the cold and am still recovering. Also we were meant to dump the rubbish in a bin about 150 metres away. I feel this should be done by the cleaners as we are paying 110 Euros for cleaning. Also landlord expected the dishwasher to be emptied. No hand wash, bath soap or shampoo in Bathrooms. Now I am not sure if this is a standard in Netherlands but in other European countries, it is not like this.

Wir (2 Erwachsen, 3 Kinder) hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Tolles Haus mit allem was man braucht. Von der Umgebung alles super zu erreichen. Für uns super da wir immer schnell mit den Kindern wieder an der Unterkunft waren, egal ob Strand oder Stadtbesuch. Supermarkt im Park aber auch einen Ort weiter. Schwimmbad in Park wurde geschlossen. Sehr zu empfehlen um Zeeland zu entdecken.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem geräumigen, sehr gepflegten Haus. Schöne Schlafzimmer und Einrichtungen, und in der Küche findest du alles, was du benötigst. Das Haus befindet sich in einem großen, weitläufigen Garten, und das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Gute Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer. Was uns betrifft, ist es Gegenstand von Wiederholungen!

We enjoyed our family time in Dorothee’s house! The house is perfect for 2 families with the 2 separate bathrooms, the mezzanine for the kid and the large sofa. The house feels spacious, light, warm and cosy. Dorothee and here husband were easy to contact, friendly and very helpful. The location is an ideal base for various trips. We recommend this place and will come back in the nearby future 🤗
