Booking & Payment
How do I book directly with you?
Choose your preferred holiday home, click 'Book now', select your travel dates and follow the booking process. After payment via Stripe, you will immediately receive a booking confirmation by email.
What payment options are available?
You can pay 30% as a deposit now (the remainder is due 6 weeks before arrival) or pay the full amount immediately. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and other payment methods via Stripe.
Why is direct booking cheaper than Airbnb or Fewo-direkt?
Booking platforms charge service fees of 12–20%. With direct booking, these fees are eliminated entirely — the savings stay with you.
Is the payment secure?
Yes, payment is processed via Stripe — one of the world's leading payment providers with PCI-DSS Level 1 certification and SSL encryption. We never see your card details at any point.
What does cancellation cost?
Cancellation up to 60 days before arrival: full refund. Cancellation between 30 and 60 days before arrival: 50% refund. Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival: no refund. We recommend travel cancellation insurance.
Arrival & Accommodation
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available from 4:00 PM, check-out must be by 10:00 AM. Self-check-in via door code — no reception needed.
How do I receive the door code?
We will send you the door code 1 day before arrival by email. On the morning of your arrival, you will also receive a reminder email with all details.
Are bed linen and towels included?
In the Zeelandkrabbe (Scharendijke), bed linen and towels are included. In the Zeelandmuschel (Brouwershaven), you can optionally add bed linen and towels during booking (€27.50/person).
Is there parking available?
Yes, both holiday homes have free parking spaces directly at the property.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in either holiday home. Please check the current house rules on the respective property detail page.
Region & Activities
How far is it to the beach?
From the holiday home in Scharendijke, it is approx. 1.5 km to the North Sea beach (approx. 10 minutes by bike). From Brouwershaven, it is approx. 14 minutes by bike to Brouwersdam beach.
Can I rent bicycles locally?
There is a bicycle rental near the holiday home in Scharendijke. Details and current prices can be found in your booking confirmation.
What is there to do nearby?
The region has a lot to offer: North Sea beach, water sports on the Grevelingenmeer (kitesurfing, diving), cycling routes, historic Zierikzee, Deltapark Neeltje Jans and the charming Brouwershaven. More tips can be found on our Zeeland page.
